The Ames Rotary Foundation is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship, which supports young scholars who embody the Rotary motto of "Service Above Self."

The Ames Rotary Scholarship is a time-honored tradition. Since June 1986, Ames Rotary Clubs have awarded thousands of dollars in scholarships to graduates of Ames High School, Gilbert High School, and the homeschool communities in Ames and Gilbert as they embarked on their educational journeys. These scholarships have been instrumental in shaping our youth's values and helping them fulfill their dreams. The scholarship is dedicated to graduating seniors from Ames High School and Gilbert High School, as well as the Ames and Gilbert homeschool communities, who will be enrolled in an accredited four-year university, two-year community college, or vocational school in the State of Iowa.
